SEEKING JUDGES

The 28th International Business Ethics Case Competition is being hosted by San Francisco State University at their 160 Spear Street facility in the city’s financial district. We are currently recruiting judges to evaluate the student teams’ presentations on Thursday, April 10 and Friday, April 11.

We are looking for both in-person and online judges.

Our first priority is to recruit individuals who can join us in-person on Thursday, when teams are giving their major presentations. Seventy-five minute sessions are held throughout the day, beginning at 8 AM US Pacific and ending as late as 6:30 PM. (You are welcome to judge as many sessions as you like, but we recognize how busy everyone is and we never ask for more than one session.) At the same time, when we were online from 2020-2023, we built a terrific roster of judges from a number of countries and different parts of the U.S., and we encourage those judges to continue participating. We’re currently working on the details of the necessary technology, and we’re confident we’ll find a way to make this happen. (We’re in the process of developing the schedule. For now, we’re simply asking you to indicate your willingness to participate.)

Our second priority is for in-person and online judges for Friday, April 11. In the morning teams will give 10-minute presentations; in the afternoon, their 90-second presentations.

We’ll be in touch regarding the actual schedule of times and topics from which to choose.
