April 10 update
1. Because there are currently 21 teams consisting of about 100 students, the most efficient way to communicate is going to be via team contacts. Accordingly, please be sure you’re in touch with your team contact from this point on.
2. Team contacts just received current versions of the Thursday and Friday schedules. Any request for changes must be done immediately because judges have begun signing up.
3. Please let us know what your topic will be as soon as you can. This will help you get a good judging panel.
4. Executive summaries are due on Sunday, April 16. This will give judges a chance to familiarize themselves with what you’re going to be discussing. Please send your summary to exsum@ibecc.net as a pdf file. The Executive Summary should be only one page and should include: the names and information of your team members; your fictional business identify (consulting group, internal task force, etc.); the audience whom the judges should imagine themselves to be (senior managers, board of directors, etc); an outline of your presentation; and a one or two paragraph summary of the content of your talk. You should summarize your argument, not simply describe the issue you will address. You can find examples from last year at https://ibecc.net/presentations-schedule-2022/
5. Any entries for either optional essay competition should be emailed to essay@ibecc.net by Sunday, April 16.
6. Any data connected with competing in the optional biathlon should be sent to biathlon@ibecc.net by Sunday, April 16.
7. If you did not provide the names, email addresses and mailing addresses for every member of your team when you registered, please do so now. The easiest way to do this is simply to fill out the registration form again at https://forms.gle/xxPk468FwDVYe5sN7.
8. Presentations will be done via Zoom webinars. Team contacts will receive instructions for how to register as we get closer to the event.
