April 6

Executive Summary deadline

Please remember that the Executive Summary is due Wednesday, April 10. See here for instructions https://ibecc.net/executive-summary-instructions/. This is a hard deadline so that we can get them to the judges—especially the online judges—ahead of time. Failure to meet this deadline will disqualify the team from cash awards. We’re sending this update to all members of the teams as well as the team contacts so that the team can be sure this deadline is met.

Judges

Presentations on Thursday will be evaluated by a combination of in-person judges and online judges. This is the first time we’re trying this, so we will need to ask everyone’s patience in case there are any delays.

Live streaming

If all goes according to plan, all sessions on Thursday and Friday will be livestreamed for anyone interested in watching. Links will be available on the Schedule pages when they’re posted.

Biathlon

Please watch the video about our unique “World’s Most Intellectually Daunting Biathlon” at https://youtu.be/LiNGv18QNxE. This both explains the event and discusses a good particularly good reason for being involved—how it looks on your CV. For more information, see https://ibecc.net/the-worlds-most-intellectually-daunting-biathlon-2/. Teams will be able to do the 30-minute walk/jog/run part of the biathlon before arriving at IBECC. Or teams can do this on the Mount Ida campus. We’ll be sending out more details about registering.

More updates will be coming. If you have any questions in the meantime, please write to info@ibecc.net
