Dear Teams,

Here are some important updates and reminders.


This is a reminder that there are two upcoming deadlines:

  • The Executive Summary is due this coming Tuesday, March 22.  Please be sure to download the template and follow the instructions on IBECC website’s Executive Summary page.
  • Hotel reservations need to be made with the Marriott by Thursday, March 30, in order to receive the discounted rate of $249/night. To make your reservation, go to the IBECC Marriott webpage.

Also, if someone on your team requires a visa letter, please contact us immediately.


  • There is a $500 prize for the team that raises the most for our charity (the Hopkinton Center for the Arts).
  • Our webpage now lists the biathlon teams and the donations they have raised.
  • Donations should be submitted through the Crowdrise IBECC 2016 page. Please make sure to specify which team the donations are supporting and then send us notification of your team’s donations to
  • Team advisors/coaches are welcome to participate in the biathlon to support their teams and help raise money, but they are not eligible for prizes nor will their run/walk times be included when calculating a team’s score. Please remember to send a T-shirt size ASAP!


Do you know any students in the Boston area who would be interested in working the IBECC event?  We have many positions to fill for Thursday 4/21 and Friday 4/22.  We pay $12 per hour. Please have interested individuals contact Chiray Koo at
